Evolution Model of Coal Failure Using Energy Dissipation under Cyclic Loading/Unloading

The damage and fracture of coal is accompanied by a complex energy conversion process, these different stages evolution are closely related to failure. In this paper, an model describing the behavior failure was proposed using dissipation under cyclic loading/unloading. growth pattern consumption characteristics were analyzed An established. variables defined, theoretical parameters included relationship between state, strength state according uniaxial loading/unloading test. results show that there excitation inhibition effects in process fracture; is, accumulation rate level affected storage changes mode “low promotion high inhibition”. abrupt increase dissipated can be regarded as precursor fracture.
